King of the pond, 1.5 inch medallion

Even though im still “infatuated” with Cabochons, now and then i still make beads (as you might remember, the things with a hole in them) This double koi medallion aka flat lentil (1.5 inch diameter, 1/2 inch thick) was part of my collection if sample beads i made for the Vault tutorial. The backside is decorated with lily pads and Monet-style lilies, which are visible through the clear glass of the bead. To top off the illusion of water I left some of the ripples that occur when pressing glass, which adds some interest motion to the bead. I really like the effect.
