Klein aber fein

35 egg discount.This strand is interesting in the way that it should not exist. I had an interesting discussion in my “Corinabeads and you” facebook group, about selling in the time of (?). Quite a few people mentioned that nobody buys long strands but it would be easier to sell shorter strands or earring pairs. I tried to follow my friend Leza’s recommendation and I split the strand into two smaller strands, but when I took the pictures it just didn’t feel right to me. I made the strand in a two day torch session, and each bead was a variation of a previous one, and to me, all these beads belong together, like a big family. When I looked at the shorter strands I felt sad. So, hoping that there is someone who appreciates “precious “ beads and has the funds to adopt all of them, my little family stays together.
What does “Klein aber fein” mean? It’s German for “small but exquisite “. These beads are indeed small (about 1/2 inch tall) but I think you can see and feel the love with which they were made…there are 19 beads which take an average of 15 minutes to create…the length of the strand is 7 inches.
